We are thrilled to embark on the transformation of this old terrace house into a modern Japandi-style haven, all while preserving the integrity of its existing structure. Our design approach thoughtfully reimagines the space to blend the minimalist elegance of Japanese design with the cozy, functional elements of Scandinavian aesthetics.

At the forefront of this transformation is the car porch, which we’ve re-envisioned as a versatile multi-functional area. Not only does it serve its traditional purpose, but it also doubles as a vibrant gathering space for family and friends, complete with a dedicated BBQ zone for outdoor cooking and socializing. To enhance privacy without compromising on airflow or visual openness, we’ve replaced the main gate with sleek ventilation blocks, which allow natural light and air to permeate while maintaining a sense of seclusion.

Inside, the interior is designed to evoke a sense of calm and spaciousness. Light-colored laminate is used for cabinet finishes, creating a soft and serene backdrop, while terrazzo flooring adds a touch of timeless texture and durability. The white worktops further amplify the airy, bright atmosphere, making the space feel visually expansive and inviting. Every detail has been carefully considered to ensure the home feels both modern and warm, offering a perfect balance of functionality, style, and tranquility.
